Reader Views Literary Awards for 2024 Announced. My debut novel The Reversible Mask: An Elizabethan Spy Novel won first place in the Classics Division Historical Fiction Category for books with copyrights before 2024.

Reader Views gave me a 5-Star review for The Reversible Mask last month, which I posted here. I also published my score card, which had mostly 5 out of 5 in most literary qualities but also two 4s. I assume it wouldn’t win, BUT IT DID!

Here’s the text: “We are pleased to extend our congratulations on being one of the esteemed winners of the 2024-2025 Reader Views Literary Awards program. This achievement is a testament to your extraordinary talent and the innovative spirit you bring to the world of literature…”

Coincidentally, today an article I wrote for the Tudor Society website on the siege of Antwerp 1584-5, which features prominently in The Reversible Mask, was published today. Stay tuned next week for that blog.

All my thanks to all of you for your support.
