One of the exceptional features of The Rainbow Book Fair, is the reading room, where poets, authors and playwrights can read short excerpt from tehir work. It’s five minutes each, with an introduction by their moderator, filmed for their archives.
They put on an after party for readers and exhibitors, a warm welcoming gathering and I met amazing potential colleagues there.
The Rainbow Book Fair is now a 601C3 corporation and can accept donations that can in some cases be tax deductible. Their exhibits and activities filled the Community Center’s three floors on Saturday and growth is the pattern.
