I WILL MODERATE THIS EXCITING EVENT: WHO WE ARE IS HOW WE FIGHT; CONFLICT AND CHARACTER IN WRITING FICTION

Dear Friends and Readers,

If you are in the NYC area, please come in person. Others, you can participate digitally.

For those of us who are not military professionals, martial arts or fight competent, yet have characters who peskily get into these situations, this talk by Fight Choreographer for Film and Theater and former Stuntman, Teel James Glenn, and his demostration partner, Carol Gyzanda, will have answers to critical questions:

When it’s right to write a fight scene

Period weapons and how to use them.

Most important, how does a scene of violence  illuminate and develop your character.

Both Teel and Carol are award-winning authors. I look for a better understanding of how pain is experienced in the moment, what adrenalin fatigue is, and many more issues.

And for readers, you’ll get a sniff of what goes on behind the scenes in entertainment we watch.

Stay tuned for my blog interview with Teel and Carol.
