A shout out of thanks to Sean Poage, author of an Arthurian series, who introduced me to artist Maria Gandolfo, who created this fantastic fantasy map for my book launch. Here it is projected against the wall of virtuoso pianist Huizi Zhang’s Brooklyn loft. We did a joint program of live music and book talk. A good audience turned up, we both made new friends and I sold one e-book, but in truth the two genres don’t mix as vibrantly as I’d imagined when I suggested the format. Every day one learns something new! For that chance I’m endlessly grateful.
